Meet the team

Having taken over as the Service Director of Law and Democratic Services at Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, a full scale service review was in order to ensure the council’s legal services could meet the future demands placed on it and to manage the budget more effectively. The transformation was wholescale, requiring the recruitment of a significant number of lawyer roles to fill vacancies and newly created posts. From the first meeting it was clear that they understood the brief and our approach to recruitment and throughout the recruitment process, the determination and hard work in seeking out candidates was exceptional, with continued support and updates as we progressed to the onboarding of permanent candidates.
