Are you a skilled Contracts Lawyer looking to join a well-regarded London local authority?

We are recruiting to an exciting opportunity within a London Borough Council for a Locum Contracts and Procurement Lawyer. This is a predominantly remote working role with competitive rates, the assignment will begin on a 3-month contract but is likely to be extended on a rolling basis. The successful Contracts Lawyer would be expected to attend the office once per week ideally, but the client is flexible.

Our client is looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX or equivalent, ideally with local government experience but they are open to considering other sectors with transferrable skills. The successful candidate must have experience providing professional legal advice on all aspects of commercial contracts and procurement related work.

On offer is a flexible working arrangement, a great work/life balance, competitive pay between £50-£60 per hour based on experience, and an interesting workload.
