Rate: £45 - 50 per hour (umbrella/interim)

About the Housing Litigation Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in the Northern Home Counties. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.

The lawyer will be overseeing housing matters within the Litigation Department; ensuring effective case management, preparation of cases.

Although full-time work is favourable the council will also consider 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Housing Litigation Lawyer role:

The successful Litigation Solicitor or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of housing and civil litigation matters, which may include matters such as:

  • Dealing with the issuing and defending of claims for rent arrears
  • Anti-social behaviour injunctions
  • Disrepair claims
  • Possession proceedings
