3 Months Temporary, with possibility of extension

Are you H&S Specialist with a critical eye and constructive manner? Sellick Partnership are recruiting to the interim role of Health and Safety Consultant within a Lincolnshire based organisation, who has a key focus on in-house repairs and property maintenance services.

This role will ensure continuity of compliance, promote a strong health and safety culture, and provide assurance to leadership teams.

Daily duties of the H&S Consultant:

  • Promoting a positive and proactive Housing Health & Safety culture, especially within the in-house repairs and contractor workforce
  • Providing guidance, oversight and assurance across all aspects of Health & Safety.Undertaking a deep dive review of current arrangements, highlighting findings, risks, gaps, and recommendations for a future-fit Health & Safety structure
  • Supporting colleagues at all levels in understanding and discharging their responsibilities, delivering coaching, training and briefings where required
  • Respond promptly to incidents, near misses, and external enquiries or investigations (e.g., HSE, regulators)

Essential experience of the Health and Safety Consultant:

  • Chartered Member of IOSH (or equivalent)
  • Investigatory Health and Safety experience, including RIDDOR and incident response
  • Experience in Repairs/Maintenance/Social Housing or Local Authorities
  • Able to work on site across Lincolnshire and nearby
