Brogan joined Sellick Partnership in June 2021 as a Resourcing Consultant, within three months she was promoted to Recruitment Consultant and in April 2023 she progressed once again to Senior Consultant. Brogan works with the Public Sector Legal team, providing recruitment solutions to clients within the London region.
Whilst travelling/living in Australia, I started working in a recruitment company assisting with recruitment projects for their public sector clients. This role was a basic administration role, but it gave me a really good insight into the 360 cycle of recruitment.
Whilst interviewing for a number of recruitment companies in Manchester, Sellick Partnership definitely stood out as somewhere that I could progress in my career. I met with other companies and a lot of the interview conversation revolved around hitting targets, social benefits of the role, i.e. trips to Ibiza/drinks in the office.
Although Sellick Partnership does set targets and offer great social events throughout the year, it was clear that the development of their employees is at the heart of what they do. This made the business stand out compared to the other companies and I could see myself building a career here.
The people. Everyone is always happy to help if you need something, whether they are in your team or in a separate department. It’s a really friendly atmosphere and I always enjoy coming into the office and catching up with everyone.
I remember feeling really nervous as I wasn’t sure if she would accept. She did, and I remember being so excited. I instantly tried to calculate how much commission I would make and it really motivated me to start building up my billings.
My biggest achievement so far would be my contribution to the expansion of our Public Sector clients within London. We have worked hard over the past couple of years to build relationships with new clients and as a team have managed to grow this area massively.
At Sellick Partnership, our values are Passionate, Respected and Engaging. These values differentiate us from our competitors; they define our business priorities, both internally and externally, and lie at the core of everything we do.
We value people who are passionate about their job and committed to providing the best possible service to candidates, clients and colleagues. We are passionate about building lasting partnerships with everyone we work with.
We are committed to engaging with our stakeholders, working alongside them to meet and exceed expectations. We are dedicated to both listening and advising, ensuring the best outcomes are always accomplished.
Everyone who comes across us as a business will be treated with genuine respect and we will always honour differences. We will always learn and develop from the experience and advice of others. We are proud of the reputation we have built in the recruitment sector.
We want you to be as happy as possible at Sellick Partnership and encourage recognition of hard work with a number of initiatives and schemes available so that everyone can be rewarded for their efforts, as well as enjoy a healthy work/life balance.
We are officially a Great Place to Work®, and the secret to our success is the people that we employ. Our people have been key in the growth and success of Sellick Partnership. We recognise that everybody is unique, with their own motivations and career aspirations.
Our Vision, Mission and Values are embedded in everything we do. From the initial call or meeting we have with every candidate or client, to our dedication to our employees and our own internal recruitment process, we hold true to them at every step of the way.
