Since first establishing in 2002, giving back to the community has always been a priority of Sellick Partnership. Across the UK we work with a wide range of regional and national charities and we encourage all of our staff to get involved as much as possible. Each year, we encourage our people to participate in a volunteer day where they can devote their time to helping to support a great cause within their local community.
Our chosen charities for 2024 are:
St Ann's Hospice cares for and helps around 3,000 patients and their families and carers every year who are affected by life-limiting illnesses. The hospice delivers care that is special and unique to each individual person, free of charge.
Wood Street Mission provide a service to help and support children and families living in poverty. Some of the campaigns that they run to assist with this include Family Basics, Books Forever, Smart Start and Christmas Appeal.
me&dee provides holidays for adults and children facing life threatening and life shortening conditions by creating special moments and memories to share beautiful experiences when time is precious.
Padley Group has supported people at risk of homelessness, poverty and hunger in Derby since 1985. Their core values are: Partnership, Respect, Integrity, Development and Empowerment. Visit their website to find out more.
Founded in 2005 and registered in 2011, with the goal of saving lives, supporting communities and preventing suicide, If U Care Share has three main aims: prevention, intervention and support of those bereaved by suicide.
Daft as a Brush provide free transport to and from the Freeman/RVI Hospitals for outpatients undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy treatment – some from as far afield as the Scottish Borders, North Yorkshire and West Cumbria.
Working alongside Lineham Farm Children’s Centre to ensure young people in need are supported, Leeds Children’s Charity creates happy childhood memories for vulnerable families, with fun-filled, week long breaks.
Merseyside based charity, Sean’s Place provides mental health support to men across Sefton and Liverpool City Region through a variety of practical, proactive support and programmes including 1-2-1 talking therapies.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is vitally important to us and we firmly believe that every employee should be able to have their input in the charities, causes and initiatives that we support. That is why we have appointed our CSR Committee to lead and champion our charity fundraising and initiatives on a daily basis.
Since our formation in 2002 we have worked with local and national charities to raise vital funds. We help people find their dream career every day, but also recognise that it is equally as important to help others and support the communities we are a part of.
We actively support the community through a number of sporting initiatives across the UK which include a cricket and a football league, two established football tournaments and a range of fundraising activities organised by our regional offices.
