Client care is extremely important to me and I have always found Maxine to excel in this regard. She is always my first point of contact whenever we need a new role in the team. Maxine consistently demonstrates great care and understanding as to the needs of my team and the requests put to her as part of any recruitment drive. Maxine is always so helpful and proactive and from my observation always does well in balancing the needs of both the organisation recruiting and of the candidate; she is often both creative and solution focused. I have also always found it very proactive of Maxine to check in with me following candidates being successfully placed so as to see how things are going. I note she also does this with the candidates also and I think that speaks so excellently as to how dedicated and passionate she is in ensuring candidates are happy, well placed and settled whilst also ensuring the organisation that has employed them is happy too. I have liaised with Maxine not only when recruiting but also on requests put forward by candidates e.g. tricky requests such as pay rises. Maxine handles these requests so well and respectfully and advocates for the candidate whilst also understanding the limitations of the employer (especially Local Authorities and our shrinking budgets) but she does this so well and persuasively that a pay increase is often agreed whether it be the asking amount or a mutually agreed rate. I think that Maxine is indeed one of Sellick's shining stars!
