Overview of Gabe:

I am a Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in supporting London Market insurers, syndicates and consultancies source high-quality Actuarial candidates.

I have over three years of recruitment experience, and have worked at Sellick Partnership for the past two of those. In that time, I have been successful in placing Pricing, Reserving, Capital and Risk Analysts and Actuaries in opportunities ranging from Junior Analyst up to the Head of level.

In my current role as Senior Consultant, I’m involved in the entire recruitment process, from searching for candidates in the inception stage of a vacancy, to negotiating job offers and organising inductions for a candidate’s first day. Maintaining strong relationships with both candidates and clients is an instrumental part of my role.

As well as my day-to-day responsibilities, I am also one of Sellick Partnership’s Charity Champions, managing our relationship with the Liverpool-based Charities we support. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to give back to local charities, supporting their efforts to improve the lives, health and wellbeing of those who need it.

I am also a level 3 certified Mental Health First Aider, meaning that although I am by no means a healthcare professional, I am trained to listen to and support any employees who require assistance with their mental health, and facilitate them receiving the appropriate support.
