Overview of Abigail
I am an experienced and trusted recruiter, specialising in Senior & Executive Finance recruitment, and one of the Associate Directors at Sellick Partnership.
Having joined the company in 2005 as a Consultant, I was given the opportunity to open up and manage our Liverpool office in 2012 before being promoted to Associate Director in March 2016. In my current role, I am responsible for managing the success of the public sector Finance team, which specialises in temporary, contract and permanent appointments across the North West, North Wales and Yorkshire.
Aside from my managerial commitments, my personal focus is on recruiting to Senior & Executive positions within the public and not-for-profit sectors. My professional client and candidate focused approach has helped with my success in providing exceptional recruitment solutions to a number of regional and national organisations, allowing me to build a vast network of clients and high-calibre candidates.
As public sector specialists, we are proud to operate through Crown Commercial Service, HealthTrust Europe, ESPO, The Cirrus Consortium and NEPRO. These frameworks represent our experience within the public and not-for-profit sectors, and provide a third-party moderator to ensure high quality and compliance.

I have worked with Abigail for 15+ years primarily as a recruiter, but also as an interim candidate. As a recruiter over that time, I have been consistently impressed with how well she matches potential candidates to the "brief", both in terms of the job spec and the "fit" to work with me and join teams that are often going through challenges, presenting quality candidates time and again. And also, being honest enough to say when she does not have a fit, rather than presenting candidates for the sake of getting any CV on my desk. However, as an interim for 20 years who is therefore on the market regularly myself, the real judgement I make of a recruiter is how they treat me as a candidate, especially when the job market is challenging, and in this regard Abigail has always been fantastic.
