Facts, figures and actions

Sellick Partnership is committed to ensuring all candidates receive fair access to job opportunities. We continually assess our processes, training and service delivery to ensure that we consider all nine protected characteristics. Our Diversity Champions undertake a range of improvement initiatives, and these are documented within our Diversity Charter.

Action taken and improvements made to date include:

Accessibility tools

We have made our services as accessible as possible to our candidates and clients by forming a partnership with Recite Me to implement their accessibility toolbar onto our website.

Diversity champion training

We invested in tailored 'Inclusion within the Recruitment Process' training, delivered by an external expert, for our Diversity Champions which led to the creation of our bespoke training for all employees.

D&I training

We delivered a bespoke training course to each member of staff, depending on whether they were sales or central services teams.

Internal process reviews

A critical review of our internal recruitment approach was conducted. As part of this, we updated our internal interview process to ensure we employ inclusive and equitable recruitment approaches in our own hiring methods.

Client training

We devised a one-hour workshop about the benefits of diversity in the recruitment process, this was successfully delivered at the CIPFA Conference. Reach out to a Consultant for more information on this.

Inclusion checklist

We launched our Client Inclusion Checklist for inclusive recruitment processes, to support our clients with a critical review of their own recruitment processes and how they could build inclusion within this.

Employability workshops

Delivering employability skills workshops to people, including college and university students, as well as individuals currently out of work. This was in partnership with local housing associations.

Women in business

Some of our employees have attended Women in Business events, they included the Women In Housing Awards, and Women in Property events.

Diversity showcase

We rolled out an internal 'Diversity showcase' with quarterly focuses on key topics and characteristics to increase awareness and knowledge across our organisation.

Our workforce

We are committed to ensuring our internal culture promotes inclusivity, and that what we do internally reflects our external approach. We review our diversity metrics twice a year, and as of March 2025, they are as follows:

20%
